How it Works

One Simple Wish enables caring people to grant one simple wish to a deserving child or family in need.

Our website features wishes from hundreds of homeless and/or impoverished families and foster children who make their wishes through our network of established non-profits and religious organizations. Potential donors can search our database of wishes and make a small miracle happen for someone in need.

  A new household appliance
  A new outfit for school
  A gift certificate for family dinner out
  Movie tickets
  A camera or music player 		  A trip to an amusement park or museum
  School Supplies
  A tutor
  Music lessons
  Experiences such as “Policeman for a Day” or “Horseback Riding”

How to Become Part of our Community Partner Network:

Organizations need to apply to become part of One Simple Wish’s network of Wish Makers. Once their application is researched and approved by OSW’s staff, they can begin making wishes on behalf of deserving families and children in need.

Getting Started

1. Register your organization.
Once your registration is approved, you will be able to create wishes on behalf of families and children in need.

2. Create a wish for family or child in need using our secure online form.

3. Wishes are posted on One Simple Wish and are searchable by registered Wish Granters.

4. Once a request is made to grant one of your wishes, One Simple Wish will contact you to arrange delivery.

5. Fulfill one simple wish for a deserving family or child in need!

How to Make a Wish:

If you are a family or child in need and would like to submit a wish to One Simple Wish, please contact one of our community partner organizations for more information.

How to Grant a Wish:

1. Search our database of wishes
You can search by several factors, including the type of wish you’d like to grant or type of person you’d like to help

2. After finding a wish you’d like to grant, click on “Grant Wish”

3. You will have two options. You can purchase the wish yourself and send it to One Simple Wish OR you can send a check to One Simple Wish for the wish value shown and we will purchase it for you.
