Maria's foster mom does worry about her though when she "gets to jumpin" on the couch and bed and would like a safety trampoline so that she doesn't get hurt. One Step Ahead has one for about $100 plus $30 to ship it.

Maria is in foster care and currently receives occupational therapy at the Children's Hospital in Mountainside. She has sensory issues and one of the things they use to help her is a trampoline. She loves to jump and would jump all day long if she could.

Foster and Adoptive Family Services (FAFS) is a non-profit whose mission is to provide support, training, and advocacy to meet the special needs of foster, adoptive, and kinship famlies, who provide a safe, stable, and nuturing home for children in foster care. FAFS provides contracted services to help the over 5000 families who care for children in foster care. For over 35 years we have also identified gaps in services to children and families and have developed privately funded programs and services to bridge these gaps. We are happy to be partnering with One Simple Wish to help fill camp scholarships and other needs of children in foster care to help them thrive.
