Wish Details:
Idaysha currently has a 15" TV in her room and loves to watch but its become a severe strain on her since losing her sight in her left eye. Her foster parents would love to buy her a new, larger TV even though she hasn't ever asked for one. Her birthday is in May and they would like it to be a birthday gift.

Idaysha was 6 years old when she was placed in foster care and 11 when she was adopted by her foster parents. She did not know how to read or write at the time and stilll has several learning disabilities because she was born addicted to crack. Idaysha developed a nuerological condition which caused her to go blind in her left eye. Her parents describe her as a very grateful child who is just happy to have anything at all. She is in an inclusion special ed class and made the honor roll in the first marketing period of the year.

Foster and Adoptive Family Services (FAFS) is a non-profit whose mission is to provide support, training, and advocacy to meet the special needs of foster, adoptive, and kinship famlies, who provide a safe, stable, and nuturing home for children in foster care. FAFS provides contracted services to help the over 5000 families who care for children in foster care. For over 35 years we have also identified gaps in services to children and families and have developed privately funded programs and services to bridge these gaps. We are happy to be partnering with One Simple Wish to help fill camp scholarships and other needs of children in foster care to help them thrive.
