This child wishes to attend the CityArts Bridge To The Arts Camp (a one week, full-day program, 8 AM to 4 PM, August 23 - 27) in Trenton. The camp is focused on the visual and performing arts. Tuition for the week is $125. Classes, taught by experienced and talented arts educators, will be held at Westminster Pres. Church in Trenton, NJ. Participating organizations and artists are: Trenton Community Music School (instruments); Trenton Children’s Chorus (vocal); Ellarslie, the Trenton Museum and ArtWorks (visual art); Makeda Kemit & Alborada Spanish Dance Theatre (dance); Passage Theatre (drama); and Storytelling Arts.

Bridget is a creative young girl who especially enjoys art. She will be entering first grade in September 2010. Her opportunities to participate in art activities outside of school are very limited so she is looking forward to the experiences included in the CityArts Bridge To The Arts week long camp.

CityArts is a collaborative of Trenton arts organizations whose mission is to expand opportunities in the arts for children and youth in Trenton. One of our goals is to provide access to arts education for the children and youth. In order to provide a chance for them to sample the varied arts experiences available in Trenton we are offering an opportunity for children and youth, ages 6 - 13, to participate in "Bridge to the Arts", a week-long day camp, at the end of August 2010.
