Amy is one of four siblings. She is in foster care and was able to appropriately advocate for herself to be placed in the same home as her younger brother, whom she looks out for. Amy loves to go shopping, cook meals and get her nails done. She has had some struggle adjusting to the program because she is not used to having a household with structure, but she is motivated to do well, especially since she wants to be able to stay with her little brother. It is important for her to do this because their mother is deceased and her father was deported, so her siblings are her only available family.
