Jarold is an amazing young man who has overcome so much. He is a sweet guy who just got his first job and says he's beginning to feel like he has a "life" again. Jarold has a favorite plaid shirt that he wears several days a week, and a bow tie that he has learned to tie himself (he's so proud!). He enjoys comic books (but not scary ones) and his favorite character is Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes. Jarold loves to talk on the phone and has an older sister he adores. The two of them talk about twice a week. She has a tattoo with his name on it, and he keeps a picture of her shoulder taped up in his room to show anyone who is interested.
