Aviva was removed from her home due to her father's defamation of character towards her mother, ultimately leading Aviva to become a ward of the state. What was supposed to be a temporary situation turned into three tumultuous years of being involved in the foster care system. To add insult to injury, she had no normal childhood experiences. Aviva hated foster care. She felt as though she was treated as a criminal. There was always an emphasis on punishment instead of being seen as a victim in need of healing and guidance. Having overcome so many obstacles in her life, Avia has decided to not let any of it define her. She went back to school, where she obtained her Associate’s Degree in Multimedia Art. Her goal is to become a video editor and start her own Non Profit aiding young people with disabilities.
