Marcy spent 7 and a half years in foster care in LA County. She has been raising her 2 younger siblings for the last 8 years with the youngest having just graduated from high school. Raising two amazing kids who both graduated and are in college has been Marcy's biggest accomplishment. She is currently a full time student herself, at CSULA where she is studying Social Work. She plans on completing her Master's next year. Marcy aspires to be a Children's Book Author and Illustrator on top of going into research.
