Iris is a future emergency room nurse, driven to improve the lives of people in her community and her family. Over the past several years, she has balanced school with employment and family responsibilities. working hard to serve as a role model for her daughter while making her own dreams come true. She is now a student at Cañada College and plans on completing her general requirements by 2022 before transferring to a nursing program.
