Martine was in foster care for her entire adolescence. She has had to face homelessness and overcome many other barriers to her education while caring for her younger brother. She is now a full-time student who is pursuing her bachelor's degree and is very passionate about her education. She hopes to later earn her MSW, impact policy, and create change in the foster care system.
