Mya is a motivated and community-minded college student currently attending a local community college. She holds a leadership role as Vice President of the Black Student Union and is deeply engaged in creating spaces of connection, advocacy, and belonging for her peers. A first-generation student, Mya is working two jobs—one on campus and one at a local museum—to support herself while navigating school and life with limited family support.
