Tyler lives with his mom and teenage sister. He plays for the town football team and attends trade school to learn automotive skills. After losing his dad a couple of years ago, Tyler helps take care of his mom and sister, as she struggles to provide for them. He is looking for a part-time job to support his family and buy his own sports gear, which is important to him as an athlete. Tyler receives support from the Department of Children and Family Services.

Tyler wants to be able to listen to his music when he commutes to and from school as well as when he is warming up and working out for his sports. After losing his father, Tyler found that music helps him cope and stay focused. He thinks of his dad often and would like a pair of AirPods for Christmas to lift his spirits for the holiday.
