Brian is an athlete who does fairly well in school but tends to be a loner. After losing his mom to cancer at age 12, he developed a deep fear of losing people and avoids getting too close. He is very shy, lacks confidence, and often stays away from girls, which leads to teasing at school because of his standoffish behavior. He lives with his dad, while his sister lives with their grandmother, and not seeing her often makes him sad. Brian hopes to become a PE teacher when he grows up.
