Lupe is asking for a gift card to Best Buy so that she may be able to purchase needed electronics for her 2-in-1 laptop so that she may use it more often for school come fall as well as for in her meeting for OFYC. Lupe is excited to be able to use her portable laptop wherever she will need it. She would like to thank One Simple Wish for the opportunity for her wish to be granted.
Lupe is 25 years old and lives in OR
Lupe is a person that lights up a room when she walks in, she is humorous, happy and loves to tell a funny story. Despite some challenges Lupe has now moved out on her own into her own apartment. She is looking for a part-time job that is closer to her apartment and school. She is now a freshman in college and has chosen Criminal Justice as her major. Due to her busy schedule she continues to equestrian train however she is not competing at this time. Lupe is a social butterfly and has found another interest,self-advocacy, where she can socialize as well as tell her story about being in foster care. She has learned that she enjoys working with other foster youth in making the foster care system better for their peers and looks forward to continuing with OFYC (Oregon Foster Youth Connection).
