Ami is a gentle, creative soul whose journey through foster care has only strengthened her courage and compassion. She loves arts and crafts, glitter, paint, paper and anything she can change into something beautiful. Making art helps her express her feelings after facing several medical challenges. Ami has undergone several surgeries on her ears and through each one, has shown bravery far beyond her years. Despite hardships, Ami continues to move through the world with kindness and a quiet strength that inspires people around her. She approaches everything she does with patience and thoughtfulness whether she is crafting, helping others, or simply spending time with those she cares about. Her creativity is matched only by her resilience.

Ami wears glasses, which help her to navigate schoolwork and the delicate details of her artwork. She often misplaces her glasses case; however, a new dependable one would help her protect this essential part of her daily life.
