Angel is a fashionista and she loves to dress up, get her hair done, and do manicures and pedicures. For her birthday, she has requested a special hairstyle that is a bit more expensive than her usual routine. We would like to make her feel special and beautiful for her birthday, because she truly is a special and beautiful person!
Angel is 23 years old and lives in NJ
Angel is a vivacious 16-year-old girl who loves fashion and beauty. Although she struggles with mental illness and developmental disabilities, she has been incredibly resilient throughout her 4 years in placement. She was separated from all her siblings due to her special needs, and although it is hard sometimes, she has a positive outlook on life.

It was certainly not too late and the generous gift was much appreciated by both Angel and her Court Appointed Special Advocate, Cara! Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA’s) are assigned to advocate for the best interest of children in court after they’ve been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. It is such a comfort for the kids we serve to receive something special, like the wish you’ve granted, while they are in foster care.
