Nihaya is funny, outspoken, hardworking, and devoted to her children. She enjoys spending time with her kids, watching movies, and relaxing when she gets the chance. Most of her time is spent caring for her two young daughters, and being a mom is something she takes great pride in. Nihaya has overcome many challenges. She experienced homelessness, adjusted to raising two young children, and worked hard to create a stable life for her family. With support from her Independent Living worker, friends, and other caring adults, she has stayed focused on building a better future. Nihaya has grown tremendously and taken on the responsibilities of adulthood with determination and strength. She now maintains her own apartment and is working toward getting a vehicle. Her daughters are her biggest motivation, and she is proud of the life she is creating for them. Nihaya continues to move forward even when things are difficult. She faces challenges with courage and does not give up. Her goal is to one day have a home with a backyard for her family and to take classes that will help her build a lasting career. Her dedication to creating a stable and successful future for herself and her children makes her truly deserving of this recognition.
