Since the beginning of her placement in her forever family's home, Alyssa has been drawn to the household's piano. Alyssa's mom explains that despite having been through more in her short years than most adults have in their entire life, Alyssa has always had a happy disposition and has turned to music to get her through tough times. Alyssa was blessed with a beautiful voice and an ear for music. She is a member of a children's choir, has sung in three Christmas plays at church, and had her first solo this past Christmas! Alyssa takes saxophone lessons at school, but continues to long for piano lessons. Her love for the piano has even enabled her to pick out tunes to play by ear. Alyssa's parents believe that piano lessons would be an enormous gift to Alyssa, giving her new ways to express her emotions constructively and creatively. We are looking for someone to help provide Alyssa with her first session of piano lessons at her local music center. We are so proud of Alyssa, and want to help her continue to turn her thoughts and feelings into beautiful music.
