Iris is asking for an unlocked Samsung Galaxy S4 phone so that she can keep in touch with important relatives. Previously, Iris lived with her grandmother whom she is very close with. Due to some unfortunate circumstances Iris's phone was damaged (no fault of hers) and she has not been able to talk with her grandmother as often as she would like. Iris's Hispanic culture is very important to her and the lack of family connection during this difficult time adds to the hard life that she is living.

Iris is a motivated young lady who is bright and a joy to be around. She loves arts and crafts, would like to be a teacher when she grows up and excels in Science. Due to her past, Iris is behind in school and is working incredibly hard to catch up. She is helpful to anyone she meets and a caring big sister. Iris is very close with her grandmother and her Hispanic heritage is very important.
