Demetria doesn't feel like a normal teenage girl, she tells us. She gets shots of insulin before and after every meal and because of her ovarian disease she looks more like a 10 year-old than a 15 year-old. She also suffers from PTSD from the abuse she endured while in her mother's care as a young child. Still, despite all of this, she is kind and she loves to share. She also loves to laugh though she covers her mouth every time to hide her teeth. This beautiful young lady deserves to know how loved she is and we are committed to making her wish come true as quickly as we can!
