Diane is a 13-year-old teenager who is working through some severe trauma, and would like the chance to go to camp. She told us going to camp would mean she could be a “normal kid” for a week. The day camp Diane would like to attend will help her work on making healthy life style choices, stay physically active, and focus on leadership skills. Diane has been with our agency for about a year now, and is really doing amazing in her healing process. She is a strong young lady with big hopes to attend a local state college. The wonderful skills she learns at camp can help her reach those goals.
