"M" and her sister are struggling with their traumatic history and find themselves blaming each other rather than using each other as a support system. This Camp through the YWCA offers a distraction desperately needed. A distraction from all the confusion and heart break they have already endured. This Camp not only offers a much needed week of fun, but also focuses on sisterhood, self-discovery, character, and adventures.
M is 13 years old and lives in NY
M and her sister are two little girls struggling to cope with all the trauma they have endured in their short lives. They struggle daily with understanding why they find themselves living in foster care, often blaming each other for their situation. There is a serious need for positivity and happiness that deflects all the darkness in their little hearts.
