Lynn has lived in foster care for more than 10 years. She will move into her first apartment on her own this winter. She is in need of essential household items to get her started.

Lynn is a 17y/o girl in foster care. Currently, she lives in an independent living facility and is attending college. She loves to ride horses, listen to music, write poetry and draw. Lynn also loves to be active outside. Lynn will soon move into her own apartment.

"Anonymous, thank you so much for Lynn's gift card. I've been working with this youth for many years and it is bittersweet to see her grow up so independently. I know she will have fun picking out some new things for her apartment. I just called her to tell her that her wish was granted, she said, "OMG, let's go shopping!" I had to remind her that she had to finish her classes for the day first (today was her first day of college, YAY!!!!!) So thank you again so much for your generosity and for putting a smile on this girl's face. She is a great kid (not really a kid anymore, I suppose...) Have a great day!!"
