Laptop for Kyree who helps support his family

Posted Sep 22, 2017
Kyree is attending college and cannot afford a laptop. A laptop wold be incredibly helpful to him so he would be able to complete homework at night from home. Although he works, he is supporting himself and his single mother.

Kyree is 26 years old and lives in NJ

Kyree is a young adult who was adopted from foster care when he was a child. He is currently enrolled in college and pursuing his dream of a career in the music industry. He realizes the importance of an education but is challenged with balancing his course work, playing his music in venues where his talent may be noticed and working to support his single parent mom. Because he is supporting his mom, Kyree doesn't have bus fare to get to and from school or a laptop. Kyree also struggles emotionally. He very much wants to be a successful adult and independent but feels guilty about leaving his mother's home because "I wouldn't be where I am without her" .
