All of Rahmier's original identification documents have been lost and the effort to obtain them through agency channels is slow. Rahmier would like to begin applying for jobs, obtain a state ID and do everything a typical 16 year old would be doing to establish independence.
Rahmier is 22 years old and lives in PA
Rahmier is a smart, kind, and caring young man who has been in and out of foster care for a total of 6 years. He has suffered horrific abuse and witnessed several traumatic events at a very young age. As a result he has behavioral issues that had made it difficult to find him a forever home and he has unfortunately has been placed in several homes that haven't always been the most supportive and understanding of him or his needs. He is currently in a home where he hopes to stay and we are all working hard to make that a reality for him.
