Nicholas loves to build things and hopes to one day be an artist. He is asking for new Legos this Christmas as it's one of his favorite toys. Nicholas plays by himself a lot because he has difficulty interacting with peers and will often get made fun of because of the way his voice sounds. Nicholas is also dealing with two failed adoptions in one year. Being able to play with new Legos will help to boost his spirit and provide him with another coping skill.
Nicholas is 17 years old and lives in NJ
Nicholas has made tremendous progress since being in his current program. He is autistic and is very caring, loving, and very sociable. He is learning coping skills and is learning to use them when he's upset or having a bad day. He is able to think about his action and learn from them. He enjoys music and talks about music class very often.
