iPod Touch for Ramon who wants to keep in touch with his family

Posted Nov 16, 2017
Ramon is asking for an iPod Touch this Christmas for many reasons. He would like a device that allows him to keep in contact with his siblings, who are all in different locations. An iPod will help him do this through whatever way each sibling has access too. Ramon also likes to listen to music when he is playing basketball in the backyard or practicing for his school team. An iPod will allow him to be able to do this more easily. Finally, Ramon can be triggered easily, especially since he has had so many losses in his life. An iPod will allow him to listen to music to cool off, especially when he is in an environment that he can't escape (like a long car ride after meeting a potential family). Ramon wants nothing more than to feel like a "normal" kid that belongs to a family.

Ramon is 19 years old and lives in NJ

Ramon is a very athletic young man. He has been residing in our program since January 2017. In that time he has matured greatly and has begun to process all the losses and moves in his life. Ramon is excited to one day be adopted and hopes that it will happen soon. Ramon does well in all sports but really likes baseball and basketball. He hopes to join his school basketball team this year. Ramon would like to be a profession athlete when he gets older.
