Diany is a 16 year old adolescent, who has been in foster care since February 2016. Her and her sister, Dannirys, were removed from their father’s care because he was not providing for them. Both girls were not enrolled in school, did not have any financial support and were not seen by a physician. Diany and Dannirys were initially placed together in the same resource home. However, upon Diany giving birth to her son, they were separated. Diany and Dannirys continue to see each other when they have time and remain in a close relationship. Diany’s mother passed away at a young age and the girls did not grow up with a mother figure. Diany is a loving mother and very attentive towards her 5 month old son. Diany is caring, affectionate, and a responsible young lady.
