Jamie currently resides with her grandparents whom have put their own lives on hold to take care of Jamie and her two sisters. While all of the girls’ basic needs are met, there is no money to cover costs for “extras” such as this pretty hefty volleyball registration fee. Jamie is a good enough player to potentially receive some college scholarship money for volleyball, so playing at this travel level is an important step in giving her experience and exposure she’ll need to stand out to college coaches. Having this wish granted would let Jamie know that there people rooting for her on her mission to be a great student and athlete.
