Mattress for new mom who can't afford a new one

Iris is in need of a new mattress. One of the springs were popping out of the mattress and she cut herself deep and ended up going to the hospital to make sure she didn't need stiches. Even though she ended up not needing any, she is concerned since she has a toddler at home who constantly wants to be next to her. Unfortunately, Iris does not have the funding available to buy herself a new bed. Iris also has had major back problems since giving birth to her last child and a new mattress would help her out a lot.
Iris is 32 years old and lives in NJ
Iris went into the system at about 5 years old due to abuse from her biological parents and was adopted at the age of 8 years old where trouble continued still within the home. Iris doesn't describe her childhood as being pleasant at all, therefore her goal is to provide for her children so that they don't ever experience the same life she did. She is due on July 6 2017 with her second child.
