Uber for Chris who is in an independent living program

Posted Feb 5, 2018
Chris lives in an independent living program which teaches him life skills and he relies on himself for most things. Chris is working part time right now while attending some classes at Brookdale Community College. He takes public transportation to get to and from these places. An Uber gift card could greatly help Chris transport to and from his job and school more easily.

Chris is 26 years old and lives in NJ

Chris has a younger brother who he cares for and worries about. He tries to set a good example for him by following the rules and taking responsibility for his actions. Chris graduated High School this year while working a part time job and living in an independent living program. He is planning on joining the military. Chris loves to create new recipes for himself and his roommates.

"Dear Karen, Thank you for granting Chris's wish for an Uber gift card through One Simple Wish. Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA’s) are assigned to advocate for the best interest of children in court after they’ve been removed from their homes due to abuse or neglect. It is such a comfort for the kids we serve to receive something special, like the wish you’ve granted, while they are in foster care. Thanks to your generosity, Jordan's day has been made a little bit brighter! Warmest Regards, Sam Cirlincione"
