A Zoo Membership for Jay, who would love to spend his family

Jay loves animals, but has never been to the zoo. A membership to the Indianapolis Zoo would bring Jay so much joy and excitement. He and his sister have never had the opportunity to take fun family outings. His new relative placement is willing to take him, but cannot afford to. A family membership to the zoo would allow Jay and his sister to see all the animals from their storybooks come to life.
Jay is 8 years old and lives in IN
Jay is a happy little boy but has been through a lot in his young life. He was a drug exposed infant and suffered from withdrawal of heroine. He spent the first two weeks of his life in the NICU and required special care for the next few months. Jay has an older sister whom he was separated from due to her being in a different placement for a while. Jay and his sister are now placed with their paternal cousins and this placement is going well and will be a permanent home for them in the near future. Jay hasn’t seen his parents for several months due to their lack of visiting him.
