Michaela recently contacted the Division to request her case be reopened for services. Michaela was removed from her biological mother’s care in 2015 due to alcohol abuse. Michaela was reunified with her biological father but moved out once she graduated high school. Since that time, Michaela has been staying with various family members but was asked to leave and found herself homeless. Michaela attends Bergen Community College in hopes of becoming a dermatologist and works part time at Panera.

"Wow it is so nice to see a wish go for start to finish and to know what an impact One Simple Wish will have on a student's class assignments. No more staying after class to get work done especially during rotten weather. Best wishes to you, Michaela!"
