Alex is an easy going and kind adolescent. Alex works hard in school, loves basketball and football, and helps out around his foster parents' home without being asked. Alex dreams of going to college on a basketball scholarship and has attended college and professional basketball games with his brother and foster parents. Alex and his older brother were separated for 6 months, due to placement difficulties. Alex was in 4 foster homes in 9 months before arriving to his present placement last fall. Alex and his foster parents hosted the older brother on weekends and during holidays, and welcomed the brother into the home this past winter.
