New bunk beds to surprise Leslie on Adoption Day

Posted Mar 15, 2018
Recently, Leslie’s foster family found out they are going to be able to adopt her! However, this news cannot yet be shared with Leslie. Leslie’s foster family would like to fix up the guest room especially for her. Her foster family shared that Leslie will be the first girl the family has raised. They believe that Leslie will want to have friends over and possibly have sleepovers eventually, so the wish for Leslie is a set of bunk beds for her new room. The idea is for Leslie to come home on adoption day after court to find that the room where she has been staying has been totally redone just for her!

Leslie is 19 years old and lives in AR

Leslie is a young lady who loves girly things. Unfortunately, she has been in and out of foster care multiple times during her young life. However, she was able to be placed back into the same home she was placed in before. Leslie is excelling in school despite the obstacles that she has faced. In fact, one of the school administrators recently called the foster family to share that Leslie did the best out of all of the other students in her grades on recent exams. Leslie does not know what she wants to be when she grows up, but she will be successful in whatever she chooses!

"Thank you for granting this big wish for this special young lady. The family is very excited to be adopting her and are making plans now for the room makeover. Her foster mother shared that she was worried about the beds not being granted in time but you made it happen and took her worries away. These bunk beds won't only be the place where this young lady sleeps every night, but will serve as the future location of giggling girls at sleepovers!"
