Sam struggles with managing his moods, and has a hard time calming himself when he gets worked up. Prior to removal, he used video games and electronics as a coping skill, however, he now lives with his grandparents on a farm and has struggled to find a new coping method. His therapist believes despite his cognitive delay, Sam will be able to learn to play guitar. Sam loves music and thinks guitar players are "cool." He would love to use this as a method to help cope with emotions (as well as be fun)!
