Because Dylan is bullied at school because of his weight. Dylan really wants to exercise and make the bullies stop. He states that "if I lose weight and get healthy then I can get them off my back".

Dylan is a funny and lovable young man. He is being raised by his grandmother and his great aunt. He has been bullied by his peers about his weight. He enjoys video games and playing games with his family.
