In Leland’s new foster home, he is just beginning to experience what many children his age might take for granted. His new foster parents have been wonderful about treating Leland like a ‘regular kid’. He is eating out, has gone to the zoo, seen his first movie and gone bowling. He is playing recreational soccer for the first time and loves this activity. His foster parents would like to continue to provide Leland with rich experiences that will help him to learn how to interact with typical peers and adults and that will improve his language and vocabulary skills.
