A guitar for Daven who dreams of a better future

Daven loves music and would love nothing more than to have his own guitar. This latest removal from his parents is one in a long line of removals over the years. He would love to write songs, using his struggles as inspiration and hopefully give hope to another young person who might hear his music. He has tried to save money to buy a used guitar in the past, but he ends up using the money for food and clothing for himself and his sister. He would be blown away by getting a new guitar that is just for him.
Daven is 22 years old and lives in IN
Daven and his sister have had a long, difficult journey in foster care. He has also struggled with bullying, and has had to look to other alternatives for school. One thing has always been a respite for him: music. He is currently working on his high school diploma via online classes and uses his free time to write songs. This summer, he and his sister enjoyed walking across town to see free music at a park that had a live concert series (when the weather permitted). His sister is a great singer, and they like to work together sometimes. They dream of better days to come.
