Evan really wants a speaker so that he can listen to music in his room. He has a deep love of music and identifies it as his primary way of helping regulate his emotions. With this speaker (which he researched and picked out himself), Evan feels he will get great sound in a portable package that is also waterproof so that he can take it nearly everywhere.
Evan is 22 years old and lives in IN
Evan is currently struggling with addiction, but is active in his path toward recovery. He is very open about the fact that he has been struggling with serious addiction from a very young age. He has been trying to keep busy by helping to clean out and renovate his grandmother's home so that she can move back in after an extended medical stay. Currently, Evan is going back to school to get a diploma and is hoping to get a job soon. One goal he identified recently is simply that he wants to spend more time with his younger sisters now that he is working on his sobriety.
