Raquel does not ask for anything because she knows that her family cannot afford it. When asked what she wanted for Christmas she said paper to draw on. When asked for something "bigger" she said Gel pens to draw with. When asked if she could wish for anything in the world, no matter how much it cost, Raquel thought for a long time and then said that she has never had a bike and has always wanted one. Raquel never thought a bike would be a possibility so she didn't know what kind of bike she would want. After looking at pictures online, Raquel picked out a Turquoise mountain bike as that is her favorite color. Raquel's home life is not pleasant and when she is not caring for her siblings she is drawing. Having a bike would fulfill the childhood dream of hers and allow her some momentary escape and provide physical exercise.
