A Chromebook for Jim, a focused and bright student, making the best of it

Jim has had a tough year. Last year Jim was separated from his brother after being removed from his home due to no fault of his own. A caring relative stepped in and took him in with her four children, and he has been doing his best to adjust. Jim has managed to stay focused on school with a strong interest in medicine. However, the vocational school he attends uses Google Classroom, which he can only currently access at school or at the library, limiting the amount of time he can study. Jim needs a device like a Chromebook that is simple to carry around and which will offer him the flexibility of studying at any time.
Jim is 19 years old and lives in PA
Jim considers himself a "foodie" and loves both learning about food, but also cooking it. He also enjoys practicing jiu-jitsu. He also has a passion for wellness and health and is following a career track towards a medical profession.
