Kylie would like a tablet to help her with reading practice and internet research. Now-a-days, children are expected to be proficient in computer skills at an earlier and earlier age. Having a tablet would greatly assist this young lady with improving her reading skills and basic knowledge of the internet and all it encompasses.This child has had a difficult time in school in the past. Now that she is being supported and allowed to be a child, she is determined to widen her knowledge and increase her reading skills to improve her over-all academics. She has low self-esteem due to learning issues and she could use all of the support she can get to assist her with increasing her skill levels.
Kylie is 15 years old and lives in NC
Kylie puts a smile on your face when you meet her. She is bubbly, friendly, and loves to talk. She is determined to be a better reader and wants to excel in school. Kylie is trying to catch up to her peers in school due to her being the main support for her siblings at night, staying up with them if they awake. She has a beautiful personality and worries about everyone else first before herself, most of the time going without. That has been a huge responsibility for her.
