Jahmeal is trying to learn how to be responsible and wants to save up for a new phone. Since he has been unable to get a job due to circumstances he has no control over, he is asking for some help this Christmas. Jahmeal just recently got in touch with his mother, whom he hasn't spoken to in several years. As Jahmeal approaches his 18th birthday, he will need a reliable phone in order to set up interviews and follow up with doctors on his own.
Jahmeal is 23 years old and lives in NJ
Jahmeal has been placed in his current program for a little over 3 years. He had been looking forward to two different adoptions but it didn't work out the way he wanted it to. Jahmeal was disappointed but he is very happy with his placement now with his current treatment parent. Even still, Jahmeal holds on to hope that he will one day be adopted as it is his dream to belong to a family.
