Maddie's favorite expression is "Stay Gold"! Maddie has moved four times in this past year and her Mom just had to leave the home to get substance abuse treatment. Maddie has been able to stay in the same school system and is really close to her friends. Having her own tablet would mean that Maddie could face time with her Mom and extended family that do not live in the area. It would also make her extremely happy.
Maddie is 14 years old and lives in NJ
Maddie is an English and Spelling star. She often recites words and will even spell them again and again. Maddie is outgoing and has lots of friends but often moves and hasn’t been able to keep in touch which is difficult for her but she bounces back and always has a smile for everyone. Maddie has been in and out of foster care due to her Mother's ongoing substance abuse issues. Despite having this adversity she continues to see the good things in life and has a positive outlook.
