Angie struggled during the 2017-2018 school year with going to school every day and was failing her classes. She moved to a new foster home and school, determined to start fresh. The transition was difficult for her but she has come to enjoy going to school and is maintaining all passing grades! She now is struggling with the social piece of being a teenager and wants to feel like she fits in with her peers. Angie worries that the way she dresses and her possessions make her peers think negatively of her. Angie would like to have this book bag to help boost her self esteem and to help her feel as though she fits in.
Angie is 20 years old and lives in NJ
Angie has come a long way during her time in foster care. She has worked hard to correct challenging behaviors and has shown substantial growth and progress. She is friendly, eager to please and interested in volunteering to help others and animals. She enjoys opportunities to try new things and is eager to learn.
