Malachi is a well-deserving young man. He became a parent to his younger siblings when his mother reneged on her own responsibilities. He played the parent to his 4 younger siblings as long as he could. Unfortunately, child protection was called, and the children were placed in care. Malachi was fortunate to be placed with his siblings after they were briefly separated. In the home he continues to nurture them as he did before, but he is learning to be a kid and enjoy life. He has surprised everyone, even himself, with how he is excelling in school. He makes sure he completes his homework every night as well as checking on his siblings for completion of theirs. The foster parents are very involved with helping with studies also.
