An Amazon Gift Card is considered by Anthony to be the most versatile gift possible because Amazon has so many different products, almost everything. Their book and video library covers just about every subject imaginable to include a lot of college prep and reference material. By having this wish granted it will allow Anthony the opportunity to purchase something that is important to him after careful consideration. Having grown up in the foster care system, having the opportunity to purchase something he personally selects with his own gift card is a special event. It will improve his self-esteem and help develop his thinking processes for making good choices.

Anthony's biggest accomplishment is how in a little over the past year, he has completely changed his life. He was a poor student barely passing and regularly having discipline issues at school and at a previous foster home. He now is on the Honor Roll, Treasurer for Student Government and has new foster parents that always have great things to say about him. He has plans to go to college, and has high aspirations for success. After knowing him for the last four years I believe he will succeed. His determination, guts, and willpower will help him succeed in all that he does. He is an awesome young man.
