Legal fees so Christina can change her name with the County of Los Angeles

When Christina was adopted as a child she thought it was forever. Unfortunately, that was not what happened. Her relationship with her estranged adoptive parents was so traumatic Christina is wanting to change her last name before she graduates in June. She is asking for help with the fees associated with getting a name change which would include the cost of getting two new birth certificates for her son and herself.
Christina is 29 years old and lives in CA
Christina is currently working on her Bachelors in Public Policy at the University of Southern California. She is a full time student, a full time single parent to her son Robbie, and works part time on campus. When she graduates in June she will be entering her Master's program also at USC. Christina has shown real tenacity as she has pursued her education while being a young mom. She has been very active in the foster care community and vocalized the need for child welfare reform.
