A Week of Summer Camp for Jacob who wants to make some new friends

Summer camp is a life-changing experience. A week-long trip to Camp Xavier in partnership with UCLA's Unicamp could give Jacob an opportunity to leave the city to spend some time in nature. Jacob will have the opportunity to swim, kayak, do arts and crafts, and toast marshmallows at a campfire. He has had a tough year and would love to leave his troubles behind, just play and be a kid.
Jacob is 19 years old and lives in CA
Jacob is 12 y/o and will be attending 7th grade in the fall. Jacob is a little shy but when he gets to know you, he comes out of his shell. He loves to draw and is really good at it. Jacob has recently been separated from his older brother. They now live in separate foster homes. This change has been quite overwhelming for Jacob and has made him much more resistant to engage with his peers. Jacob's brother will be attending Camp Xavier this summer and Jacob would love the chance to spend time with his brother while making new friends.
